Phew.
Just finished my stint back in Moxie studios where I made some new work and the acquaintance of cool painters like Daire Irwin and Al Freney. The artful chaps at Cast foundry are working hammer and tongs (quite literally) to get the new pieces done in time for the 'Sean Nós' show, coming up on Bloomsday. The other sculptors taking part are Eamon O' Doherty and John Behan.
I'll post some photos as soon as the patina drys.
Sean Nós will be opened by Minister for Arts Jimmy Deenihan in Sol Art Gallery, 8 Dawson St., Dublin 2. on Thursday, June 16.
